All Day Weekly Challenges Event (Multi-Day Event)

Introducing the Brewer Center's new weekly challenges with raffle prizes involved so don't scroll away!!!
The weekly challenges are as follows:

Register To Vote (Sept 28th-Oct 2nd)
#WhyIVote (Oct 5-9th)
Pledge to Vote (Oct 12th-Oct 16th)
Tag 3 Friends (Oct 19th-23rd)
Show us your Civic Engagement!
How to Participate:

Challenges occur Monday through Friday

Each challenge has events within them

Do one event for that week to receive an entry into the raffle

Share your social media posts, tag us, send us an email at, or partake in Zoom dialogues to get a virtual raffle ticket.

Fridays a winner will be announced per challenge

All Day Leadership Training for Clubs & Organizations (Multi-Day Event)
Are you a advisor, officer, or member of a student club or organization? Then join us on the first four Fridays in October for some club and organization specific training. Dave Kelly, America's Student Leadership Trainer, will be hosting 1-hour workshops at 10am on 10/2, 10/9, 10/16 & 10/23 via Zoom. These interactive workshops are open to all MWCC student club or organization advisors, officers, and members. Join with others from MWCC to learn how to be a better student leader and club member. The weekly topics will be the following:

10/2 - Confidence in Leadership

10/9 - Officer Roles, Responsibilities, and Transitions

10/16 - Secrets of Motivation and Delegation & Playing Well With Others

10/23 - Membership Retention

Each registered student organization will be required to send at least one student member to each of the four live sessions, but may send as many as they would like.

End Time 12:00 PM Weekly Contest: National Dictionary Day Quiz (Multi-Day Event)
National Dictionary day is on Friday, October 16th and to celebrate this week's quiz is a National Dictionary Day Quiz. Complete the quiz between Monday, 10/12 at 8am and Friday, 10/16 at noon. All correct entries will be entered to win an Amazon $25 gift card. 
The quiz may be difficult, but don't panic, I'm sure with a bit of searching you will find all of the answers in due time.

1:00 PM Lessons From Abroad Annual Conference (Multi-Day Event)
We are excited to announce that registration for the Lessons From Abroad Virtual Conference is now *LIVE*! You can register on our website for *FREE* via this url: Please note: you will have to register for both weekends. This will be a free, nation-wide event available to all students who have studied abroad in recent semesters, and in particular for those who were abroad in spring 2020 and had their programs interrupted by COVID-19. The virtual conference will take place over the course of *October - 9th/10th and 16th/17th. Each day will begin at 1:00 p.m. EST/10:00 am PST* in order to accommodate all time zones, and will consist of a variety of different sessions and opportunities for students to connect each day. Please note: the deadline to register is the Thursday before each week (10/8 for the first week and 10/15 for the second week). The sessions will cover the following topics:    -    Unpacking & reframing    -    Social justice    -    Career resources & going abroad again Conference Highlights:    -    Meet other recent study abroad returnees from all over the US    -    Hear from dynamic and motivating keynote speakers about their    experiences abroad    -    Learn how to talk about your newly acquired global skills in a job    interview    -    Discover how you can work or study abroad after graduation    -    Network with professionals working in internationally-focused jobs    -    Stay connected to and share stories about your study abroad experience This is a great opportunity to network with other students and professionals.
