6:00 PM - 7:00 PM Paranormal Comedy - Part of Marty's Mountain Path - Fun & Games
Improv comedy and a paranormal theme, what more could you ask for? Join us as we solve the mystery at MWCC and you'll be sure to have a scary good time.
The news has hit the entertainment industry like a ton of bricks.  The release date for one of the Fall's most highly anticipated new series has been delayed.  "Dexter: New Blood" (filmed at Mount Wachusett Community College – MWCC) was slated to be available this October on Showtime.  To the disappointment of many Dexter and Halloween enthusiasts, it will now air in November instead!
"Why!?" demanded local resident Tony Valdyck, when asked about the development. "Dexter is a spooky show about murder.  It should be a Halloween thing, not a Thanksgiving thing."
Enter psychic and improv comedian Terry Withers, perhaps best known for his efforts to educate the public about psychics.  "I started having dreams about the "Dexter: New Blood" release date maybe 4 months ago?  I knew something was up, that a delay could happen.  But I didn't know that it had to do with Mount Wachusett Community College until a month ago.  I had a dream where I was on the Mount Wachusett campus. I was dressed in a Mountain Lion costume, that's their mascot, and in the dream I was rushing to the Green Street Café for lunch.  Then, I noticed the Dexter film crew in the distance.  Suddenly a great storm appeared, it started pouring down rain with lightning and thunder crashing and a deep unnatural voice boomed from the sky, "DEXTER'S RELEASE DATE WILL BE DELAYED SEVERAL WEEKS BECAUSE OF SOMETHING THAT HAPPENED ON THE MOUNT WACHUSETT CAMPUS INVOLVING THE MASCOT!  ONLY YOU CAN SOLVE THIS MYSTERY!" So naturally I booked one of my seances immediately."
Mr. Withers is referring to a virtual performance he has scheduled through the Student Life Office at MWCC.  Mr. Withers performs his seances all over the country under the banner, Paranormal Comedy.
"I urge you to attend this performance!", Mr. Withers pleaded.  "Could it result in Dexter's new season being released before Halloween?  I can't promise that, but if we do nothing, it is entirely possible that more tv shows will be delayed from airing during a seasonally appropriate timeframe."
